Dear Valued Donor:

Can you believe it has been over a year since the opening of the Dr. Ala Stanford Center for Health Equity (ASHE)? And that since November 3, 2021, ASHE has served over 7,000 Philadelphia patients and that the Black Doctors Covid-19 Consortium (BDCC) has tested and vaccinated over 100,000 patients in Philadelphia and surrounding counties?!
The Black Doctors Covid-19 Consortium started out of the need to provide access, empathy, education, and action during the pandemic. Therefore, we remain committed to protecting the lives of our patients through education and advocating for public health and equity while providing exemplary healthcare.

At ASHÉ, we are not driven by the “bottom line” but by helping Philadelphians enjoy a healthier, happier life. Our belief is that barrier-free quality health care is the solution to building healthy communities for families to thrive. The average cost for an adult to receive annual health and wellness exams and screenings are estimated at $350.00. While children and youth exams and physicals average at $200.00. Our goal is to be the honest bridge that creates resources for the families we serve by offering health care solutions. For this reason, we have endeavored through our organization, to service the community with excellence regardless of their ability to pay. Most importantly, we know that our effort to serve, positively impacts our patients by removing barriers to maintaining a quality lifestyle.

And now, we are thrilled to celebrate this milestone year and continue to raise awareness (as well as funding) for our programs and health care provided. “150 Days of Giving” is our fundraising campaign so that BDC will continue our mission. Your partnership with ASHE and BDCC can change the lives of real people. This year your support has provided opportunities, thousands of Philadelphians would not have experienced. So, to you we say, “Thank you”!

If you have any questions and would like to donate an alternative contribution, please contact Takiyah Cuyler, Controller at [email protected]. Thank you in advance for your contribution. Generous supporters like you bring hope to families and communities we serve throughout Philadelphia and surrounding counties.
