Explore the Gunpowder is a 45 day-long event from May 1 - June 14, 2023.
It is an initiative of the Gunpowder Valley Conservancy (GVC), a Baltimore County-based land trust and restoration nonprofit. Since 1989, the GVC has protected 1800+ acres in conservation easements, planted 36,000+ trees and removed 270+ tons of trash.
We look forward to working with sponsors who share our vision of a Gunpowder Watershed that consists of healthy lands, healthy waterways, and healthy communities.
