With every roll of the dice or flip of the cards, you are joining our mission to ensure deaf and hard of hearing children and adults thrive by having the knowledge, opportunity and power to design the future of their choice.

As many as 70% of deaf children are experiencing severe language deprivation. Among the families and communities of Black, Indigenous, and Persons of Color (BIPOC) deaf children, the language deprivation is much more prevalent due to a systemic lack of access.

We are committed to eradicating language deprivation through our multiple programs, including the Badavas Parent Infant Program, the Early Childhood Center, and our three school programs: Marie Philip School, Walden School, and Public School Partnerships.

The Learning Center for the Deaf considers all donor information highly confidential. Donor information is solely used for TLC mailings (publications, correspondence, invitations and solicitations). TLC never shares donor information with other organizations and never sells its mailing list. The Learning Center for the Deaf is a non-profit organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
