We are so grateful for your support in wanting to take on this physically and fundraisingly-challenging event to support our mission. Every 90 minutes, someone gets diagnosed with ALS and in that same timeframe, someone else loses their battle to the disease. ALS is a progressive and terrifying neurodegenerative disease that strikes anyone at any time. The lifespan after diagnosis is roughly 2-5 years and there is currently no cure. Your support will have a tremendous impact and help to advance hopeful ALS research that is now underway while also providing essential equipment to individuals living with the disease now.

Fine Print: Important Details

ALS ONE 2023 TCS NYC Marathon - Fine Print and Details:

We are so grateful for your interest in joining our 2023 TCS NYC Marathon Team! Your support means the world to us and to all impacted by ALS. Please read the following carefully and sign below with your acknowledgement.

If my application is approved and I’m selected to this year’s team:

1) I understand that I am required to raise at least $4,000 for ALS ONE to help advance critical ALS research and care.
2) I understand that I will be responsible for paying the Marathon entry fee (per the marathon management), which is $255 for NYRR members and $295 for non-members.
3) I understand that 100% of my pledge will be due by the day of the marathon, November 5, 2023.
4) I understand that I will provide my credit card information to keep on file in a secured location to be charged on December 31st 2023 if I have not raised the minimum amount at that time.
5) I understand that charity entrants may not cancel or defer without prior approval from ALS ONE.
6) I understand that in case of injury or drop-out, I will still be responsible for meeting the fundraising minimum.
7) I understand that I am required to attend the race expo to pick up my own running bib.
8) I will adhere to all guidelines set forth by TCS NYC Marathon officials.
9) I will proudly wear my official ALS ONE 2023 TCS NYC Marathon singlet on race day and understand that any photos and info provided may be used on our social media and digital channels to highlight you and our team.
10) I will be a great champion of ALS ONE to the fullest extent I am able – doing all I can to surpass the required minimum.
11) I will be doing an amazing thing by helping to END ALS while also helping individuals who are living with the disease now – and for that, I’ll be extremely awesome!
