Opening in July 2020, The CARITAS Center will bring all the solutions for breaking the cycles of homelessness and substance use under one roof. The repurposing of a 150,000 blended leaf tobacco facility will transform both the surrounding south Richmond neighborhood and thousands of lives as the new home for the CARITAS family of programs: Shelter, The Healing Place for Women, Works, and the Furniture Bank.

The largest provider of homeless services in the Richmond region, CARITAS has a 30-year history of effectively bringing hope and dignity to our most vulnerable neighbors. Tens of thousands of volunteers and donors have
joined us in our journey to break the cycles of homelessness and addiction for all.
