Casa Cornelia Law Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit law firm providing free immigration legal services to victims of human rights abuses in San Diego and Imperial County. The immigrants we represent are:
- seeking refuge in the U.S. after fleeing persecution and torture
- suffering from gender-based violence, trafficking, and other serious crimes
- abused, abandoned, or neglected children
The Need: Thousands come to our border each day seeking asylum or other humanitarian assistance as victims of serious crimes. Undocumented people become members of our community and because of their vulnerability are exploited or become victims of crime.
The Solution: We can extend our reach through Casa Cornelia’s Pro Bono Program. Our volunteer attorneys are recruited, trained, and mentored by Casa Cornelia staff attorneys.
