Thank you for supporting the Home Builders Care Foundation Our mission of SHELTER continues to be important!

We strengthen communities in Maryland and the District by building and renovating shelters and supportive housing facilities. Our projects are large and small - all making an impact on the daily lives of others in need.

We provide vital support and services to many front-line nonprofits caring for the homeless, the disabled, victims of domestic violence, and the infirmed.

Our charitable construction services benefit not only families in crisis but also for the caregivers working in these facilities every day.

We need to continue to help build and renovate hard-working housing facilities where families in crisis receive support.

How Your Donation Helps -

$50 - can help provide needed Gift Cards this holiday season for families in crisis and in need of food and hygiene products.

$100 - provides Household Essentials such as linens and kitchen tools for a homeless family moving into housing

$250 - helps provide new Energy-Efficient Appliances in a renovated unit of supportive housing for the formerly homeless

$500 - helps underwrite the cost of Renovating an Accessible Bathroom at a group home for the disabled

$1000 - will help HBCF Replace an outdated HVAC System or Roof to help keep vulnerable persons warm and dry.

All donations can be earmarked for a special project or as a honorarium.

The Home Builders Care Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization. Donations to our organization are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. Our Federal Tax Identification Number is 52-1389604. A copy of our most recent financial statement is available upon request by contacting our office. Documents and information submitted to the State of Maryland under the Maryland Charitable Solicitations Act are available from the Office of the Secretary of State, State House, Annapolis, MD 21401 for the cost of copying and postage.
