Kid's Camp Adult Volunteer Registration

Thank you for wanting to help bring hope, healing, and new beginnings to the children in our community who are grieving the loss of a loved one. We appreciate your help and support. 


Camp Dates:
Thursday, July 25, & Friday, July 26, 2024


Volunteer Check-in: 7:30am

Camper Check-in: 8:30am

Camp:  9:00am - 4:00pm


Camp Location: Maybury Farm, 50165 Eight Mile Road, Northville, MI 48167 


*To ensure a camp shirt in your size, please complete this registration by June 28, 2024 .

***T-shirts will not be guaranteed to volunteers unless you are volunteering for both full days.  


Once you submit your online form you will receive a confirmation email with additional details that need follow-up. Please be sure to check your email or click on the links below to complete your Michigan Jaguars Waiver and your Equine Horse Therapy Waiver (Miner Equestrian/ Healing with Horses. Also, we have two dates when we will be providing training. Please use the Signup Genius link provided in your confirmation email to sign up for our Kid's Camp Volunteer Training on Monday, June 10th from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm at Plymouth First United Methodist Church (45201 N. Territorial Road, Plymouth, MI 48170) and Monday, July 15th from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm at Maybury Farm (50165 Eight Mile Road, Northville, MI 48167 *please bring lawn chair to this training).

If you volunteered for our 2023 Kid's Camp, we will automatically run a background check for you, as you approved an annual renewal on your 2023 background check security form. If this is your first time volunteering at Kid's Camp, you must complete the background check before you can volunteer. The link is also provided in the confirmation email.

As a volunteer, you are a representation of New Hope's mission, and your actions are to reflect New Hope's values. b.) As an adult volunteer, positions are subject to a background check. c.) The services provided by the staff and volunteers of New Hope Center for Grief Support are strictly support services and not professional therapy. d.) As part of that support, and by volunteering, New Hope provides follow-up communication via phone and/or email.

I agree to allow New Hope to use my photographs from this event and while volunteering on their website and other promotional documents as they see fit. I agree to hold harmless the hosting partner of this event, New Hope Center for Grief Support, their employees, volunteers, officers, and directors from any claim or action I may have arising from my participation in the event of involvement in any capacity. By affixing your name below, you agree to our hold harmless statement, and you agree to give full consent to the completion of the ICHAT background check being done annually.
