The Land Trust for Santa Barbara County is dedicated to preserving and enhancing Santa Barbara's beautiful landscapes, wildlife habitat, family farms, and places to play. Your donations allow us to:

Protect and Restore Valuable Land—Since 1985, the Land Trust has conserved more than 30,000 acres of family farms & ranches and wildlife habitat in Santa Barbara County. This year, we completed a conservation easement with Betteravia Farms—500 acres in North County that provides critical habitat to the endangered California tiger salamander.

Provide Places to Play—We have provided the community access to more than 9,000 acres for recreation across the county and plan to expand this further in both North and South County as part of our strategic plan.

Host Outdoor Education—Our Arroyo Hondo Preserve continues to provide outdoor education to more than 2,000 students per year.
