Thank you for supporting the Home Builders Care Foundation's Shelter-Related Construction Assistance Program.

Our mission of SHELTER continues to be important! We strengthen communities in Maryland by building and renovating shelters and supportive housing facilities. Our projects are large and small - all making an impact on the daily lives of others in need.

We provide vital support and services to many front-line nonprofits caring for the homeless, the disabled, victims of domestic violence, and the infirmed. Our charitable construction services benefit not only families in crisis but also for the caregivers working in these facilities every day. We need to continue to help build and renovate hard-working housing facilities where families in crisis receive support.

Credit card donations are accepted here. If donating by check, please send your gift to: HBCF attn: CITC donations, 11825 W. Market Place, Fulton, MD 20759. 301-776-6212 phone.

Please note that in order to qualify for the CITC program:

HBCF must have tax credits available. please email [email protected] to confirm prior to donating.
your gift must be at least $500.
the donor Tax ID number must match the taxpayer account to receive the credit.
If all is good, Home Builders Care will issue a CITC donor acknowledgement form and receipt to be used to obtain the Maryland state tax credit.

After completing your donation, HBCF will certify your contribution with the State of Maryland who will then provide final official paperwork needed to claim the credit on your tax return.

The Home Builders Care Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization. Donations to our organization are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. Our Federal Tax Identification Number is 52-1389604. A copy of our most recent financial statement is available upon request by contacting our office. Documents and information submitted to the State of Maryland under the Maryland Charitable Solicitations Act are available from the Office of the Secretary of State, State House, Annapolis, MD 21401 for the cost of copying and postage.
