Lere & Abi in 2008 after several years of ministry experience, in obedience to divine instruction received about mission, they left their home country Nigeria for neighboring Ghana (both in West Africa) to pursue missionary training program to be able to reach out and serve the poor and the less-reached around the world by sharing the love of God.

Few years later, they joined Mercy Ships in bringing Hope and Healing to the worlds forgotten poor by following the model of Jesus Christ in providing free medical/surgical healthcare and other community development programs.

Lere, an ordained minister of the gospel, a multi-talented and anointed musician/worship leader currently serves in full capacities as the Mercy Ministries Coordinator on the Africa Mercy. He has weekly responsibility of leading different teams of AFM Crew and Guests from over forty nations of the world to local communities of the host nation to share the love of God, at such places like orphanages, prisons, homeless outreaches, schools for the deaf and the physically challenged and also the Jesus Film project in local communities where many souls are drawn to be followers of Christ. Abi on the other hand, with her secretarial and administrative background, joyfully serves in full capacities as the HR facilitator (Technical/Surgical) with the incredibly amazing AFM Human Resources Team.

Ultimately, they share their musical gifts through worship leading with the Africa Mercy Community of Faith.
