Do you want to grow your own vegetables? Maybe you have raised beds, an acre, or maybe, just some pots on a porch. Are you unsure of which vegetables to grow and when to plant them? Join Master Gardener, Diane Diffenderfer to delve into the basics of backyard gardening. Discover why healthy soil is key to a productive garden, how to provide nutrients to your plants without chemical fertilizers and learn which plants you can start from seed and which should be transplanted. Diane will suggest what plants will grow best in SE PA and which you are better off leaving out of your garden plan. This class will be held in person and will involve an interactive Q & A format.
