At the Roxy Theater, we have a goal of raising $7,500.00 to support our 35mm screenings.


The Roxy Theater is proud to keep this part of movie history active and alive and to be the only theater in Montana that regularly hosts 35mm screenings.

This past year we have screened eight different titles on 35mm, including two weeks of the critically acclaimed film, Oppenheimer in July.

The cost to project one title such as, Silence of the Lambs in October was over $600. The cost to ship the 35mm reels has greatly increased since we began screening 35mm prints in 2018 and often the rights to show the film are significantly higher than the digital version.
