2024 Satilla Gala Sponsor

The Satilla Riverkeeper is happy to announce that we will have an in-person Gala this year at the Strickland's Lodge on May 18th. I hope you will be able to attend.

The funds raised through sponsorships allow our organization to continue to protect the river. Below are some of our 2023 accomplishments.

We said goodbye to our outgoing Riverkeeper, Chris Bertrand, and welcomed our new Riverkeeper, Shannon Gregory
Successfully hosted our Annual Fishing Tournament
Collected over 1,000lbs of trash from our riverbanks
Investigated 22 reports of pollution
Conducted multiple routine water quality tests at 78 sites within the watershed
Found and reported 4 sites that were violating the law
Protected over 100 miles of Satilla for recreational use
Hosted a successful Roastin' with Our Riverkeeper event
Exceeded our GA Gives Goal with $15, 780 of $10,000 raised
