The Ranchos Neighborhood Organization (RNO) is a voluntary group formed to foster connection and communication among residents of the Rancho Estates in Long Beach, California. The Cliff May designed, modern ranch homes were built in 1953 and 1954. The key objectives of the organization are to promote awareness of the architectural significance of our homes, and to act as a collective voice in matters affecting our diverse, thriving neighborhood.

The primary goals of the RNO are to:

• Encourage community building through neighborhood events and gatherings

• Support the safety, welfare and betterment of The Ranchos through improvement initiatives

• Provide resources to preserve, maintain and learn about the history of our Cliff May Homes (Lakewood Rancho Estates)

• Create awareness of the issues that directly affect residents

• Nurture the strong sense of community that make The Ranchos a vibrant place to live, work and raise families.

The RNO is inclusive and open to all residents of the Rancho Estates bound by Spring Street to the south, Studebaker Road to the west, Stevely Avenue to the east and Wardlow Road to the north (excluding the Carson Park, raised foundation homes on Coralite Street and those on the north end of Karen, Roxanne, Kallin, Lees, Stevely, and Studebaker).
