Expanded proactive efforts are underway to help protect residents in the Colorado Springs community from Coronavirus (COVID-19) by slowing the spread of infection during the pandemic. In consideration of the health and safety of visitors, all scheduled programs are suspended until further notice. POSTPONED Downtown Walking Tour: Women’s Voices, Women’s Lives: Celebrating the 19th Amendment 

What did suffrage mean to the lives of women in the Pikes Peak Region? By examining the historic working-class neighborhood of south downtown, we will discover women’s stories of work, activism and philanthropy. Learn how the 19th Amendment paved the way for women to actively advocate for themselves, their families and their community.

This is a 75 minute walking tour. Please dress for the weather. Good walking shoes, water, sunscreen, etc. are recommended! While all ages are welcome, this tour is designed for an adult audience.
