Yawhan has been training with the Myanmar National Director for the past years. He has association with about 35 pastors in his area. His desire is to help these pastors and their churches get the CCI training started in each church. This will greatly enhance the evangelistic and discipleship ministry and see more new churches started.
He is teaching two training classes with 26 students. He led God’s Financial Principles (GFP) seminar two times in which over 50 leaders attended. He rejoices that 5 pastors has already presented this GFP training in their churches.
He states “I studied the CCI courses in Chiangmai, Thailand in 2013. This course helped me understanding the Bible better for my personal spiritual journey. I had in mind during my study in Chiangmai that all pastors in my area should study the courses also when I return home. However, due to lack of contact and materials, it took me seven years to promote this program in my area. Humanly speaking I am so disappointed at the moment because I cannot take the program to churches as I wish due to Covid-19 and military junta who steals our freedom and destroy our hope. I will not give up though it’s hard at the moment but push myself till churches have the idea of this discipleship.”
Yawhan was appointed as the Area Coordinator of northern Myanmar in January 2022.
