Pastor Zaw has been working with the Myanmar National Director to help equip more than 50 pastors through the Teacher Training Workshop since 2021. He works with over 30 churches in his association. All pastors were excited to train believers and want to start as soon as the military coup quiets down and does not continue to keep people frightened. He started three classes with twenty people but had to stop due to the coup. He is recently started again with classes even in their hardship.
He states, “I studied the CCI courses for three months in Chiangmai, Thailand in 2013. It leads me to study Bible more deeply. Especially book # 1, helps me change the way how to study the bible and prepare sermons. My congregation recognized that my preaching was different after I returned from Chiangmai. For this especially, I wanted to start the CCI training in my area. Thank God this material is in our own language. The three training classes are going well. Students are interested in it and helps understanding the Bible. It gives them courage to share to others.”
Zaw was appointed as the Area Coordinator of eastern Myanmar in January 2022.
