Bella SPCA was created in 2006 to assist low-income, elderly, or terminally ill pet owners with the cost of veterinary care when it cannot be afforded. Every year, thousands of animals are euthanized, surrendered to local animal shelters, or die because the people who love them cannot financially absorb the cost of veterinary care. At Bella, we believe every animal deserves the best possible veterinary care regardless of the owner’s ability to pay.

Since our beginning, Bella has provided more than $2 million dollars in funding to cover the cost of veterinary care for at-risk pet owners. When an animal is brought to our non-profit veterinary hospital for care, our only priority is making that pet well, never cost. Prices at our clinic are lower than most vet clinics in our city but we go even further. The price someone pays is based on income, not procedure. If someone needs financial assistance to make their pet well, we provide it. Our clinic was built to help the most vulnerable, but here to serve everyone.
