Our Refund Policy

The Chanda Center for Health cherishes every donation and works hard to ensure every dollar is put to work helping those it serves as quickly as possible. When a donation is received, the organization believes it was the full intention of the donor to support the efforts to meet participant needs. Below you will find refund policies on the various donation opportunities we receive as an organization.


Donations: Because the Chanda Center puts all donations to work quickly, we do not offer refunds on any monetary or in-kind (i.e. physical items) donations of any kind. Refunds do not apply to Payroll Giving donations within the workplace. If a donor feels that a donation has been taken in error, the donor should speak to their payroll department as the department is responsible for making the deduction.

Purchased Goods: The Chanda Center may offer, from time-to-time, goods for purchase where a percent of the goods purchased will support the Foundation’s efforts. In such cases, goods that are faulty, wrongly described, different from the sample shown, or don’t do what they are supposed to do, the purchaser will be able to choose between a refund or exchange. These goods will be clearly marked as such and will be considered purchased goods and will not be considered a donation or eligible for tax deduction. Refunds or exchanges will not be offered on items that have been damaged or worn. Please retain your receipt for proof of purchase.

Event Purchases: The Chanda Center  may offer, from time to time, tickets, silent auction items, live auction items for fundraising purposes where a percentage of the purchase will support the Foundation’s efforts. In such cases, purchases are final and the organization believes it was the donor's full intention to support the efforts to meet participant needs.
