The ability for all women to receive healthcare during and after pregnancy is critical to their overall health, which makes home monitoring and telehealth important options for everyone to access. Unfortunately, they are not universally available, nor universally covered by private or public insurance options. Through your donation, you will help fund projects to:

Purchase and provide additional Cuff Kits, coupled with telehealth options, to support high-risk, low resource women across the US.
Collect data, analyze and publish results of self-monitored and remote blood pressure measurement programs in pregnancy and the postpartum period. Outcome measurements should include maternal and neonatal mortality and morbidity, healthcare costs, impact on racial disparities.
Technical evaluation and validation of current home-monitoring devices/services for use in pregnancy, with secondary validation for preeclamptic pregnancies.
Assess policies and drive regulatory and clinical changes, as needed, to add self-monitored and remote blood pressure measurements to obstetrics standards of care.
Advocacy efforts with public and private insurers to universally reimburse for home-monitored blood pressure measurement for all pregnant and postpartum women.

We take precautions to protect your information. We collect credit card or bank account information, names, addresses, and other data related to your transaction when you make a payment through our site. Terms/Conditions
By submitting your payment, you authorize us to charge the account above for the amount specified in the Transaction Amount field. Account information for Recurring Pledges/Monthly Giving is encrypted and stored securely via SafeSave™ for automatic processing of your future payments. Notify us at anytime if you wish to discontinue your pledge.

Funds received by the Preeclampsia Foundation are carefully monitored to ensure their use complies with donor intent. An annual audit of our finances is conducted by an independent certified public accounting firm, overseen by the Preeclampsia Foundation Board of Directors. Board and organization assessments are conducted by an outside party with expertise in board governance and evaluation every two years. A portion of the third-party fundraising events benefit the Preeclampsia Foundation.

Donation Refund Policy

If you have made an error in making your donation or change your mind about contributing to the Preeclampsia Foundation, we will honor your request for a refund made within 15 days of your donation. Refunds are returned using the original method of payment. If you made your donation by credit card, your refund will be credited to that same credit card. Donors have the option to give recurring donations. The Foundation will be able to refund the previous month's donation only.

Overpayment or Error Refund Policy

Where an error has been made by the Foundation or a banking facility which results in an overpayment being made, the Foundation may, in consultation with the donor, refund by either a credit of the overpayment to the donor, or alternatively by check for the full amount of the overpayment. Checks will be sent within 30 days to the donor’s address on file.
