The Doylestown Pride Festival is elated to share that last night March 20th, the Doylestown Borough Council unanimously approved the installation of a permanent Pride Crosswalk in downtown Doylestown. This would be Bucks County, Pennsylvania's first rainbow crosswalk.

Funds raised as part of the ongoing Doylestown Pride Festival events will be used to pay for the materials, installation, and ongoing maintenance of the crosswalk; taxpayer dollars will not be used. More details about the crosswalk’s location and timing will be shared as soon as it’s available.

Doylestown Pride Festival is a collaborative effort between the Borough of Doylestown, Discover Doylestown, Delaware Valley University, A Woman’s Place, Michener Art Museum, The Rainbow Room, Salem United Church of Christ, Borough Council, and the Human Relations Commission.
