Hospices of Hope Donate Now

Hospices of Hope is a UK and US (501c3) registered charity, and this year marks 30 years of our work developing hospice and palliative care services for children and adults in Romania and surrounding countries.

In 2018 we opened a children's respite center called Copaceni near Bucharest, Romania. The center is in a beautiful, converted manor donated to us by the Florescu family. We support children and families affected by life-limiting conditions such as muscular dystrophy, cerebral palsy, cancer, and many other rare childhood illnesses through in patient care and family education. 

In the last month amid the crisis in Ukraine, two adjoining buildings at Copaceni have been made available to shelter Ukrainian refugees, particularly mothers and children with special needs. At the present time, 40 beds are occupied, and we hoping to make another 15 beds available in another building. 

All of our current fundraising this spring will go towards the continued operation of Copaceni, helping some of the most vulnerable children in Romania as well as providing urgent help to Ukrainians in desperate need. To find our more about our work, please visit www.hospicesofhope.com.
