Your generosity in supporting the House of Refuge is such a blessing to homeless families right here in our community. Gifts from heros like YOU not only provide food, shelter, stability and a safe place to heal, but most importantly HOPE for better tomorrow.

 

Hope for Moms like Sharon.* As the mother of 2 young children, Sharon moved into House of Refuge after living in a shelter, She was unemployed but in school full-time at East Valley Institute of Technology (EVIT). While at House of Refuge, Sharon secured part-time employment AND continued her program at EVIT. She graduated as a Licensed Practical Nurse. When Sharon exited House of Refuge, she secured full-time employment earning $23/hour and moved into her apartment.
