This privacy policy was created in order to demonstrate Provide’s firm commitment to the privacy of our supports and subscribers. We respect your right to keep your non-public personal information confidential and understand your desire to avoid unwanted solicitations.
What personal information is collected?Provide supporters and subscribers who register for our e-communications voluntarily provide us with contact information (such as name and email address). Additionally, supporters who return our mail remittance envelopes also voluntarily include contact information. We may use this information for specific, limited purposes (some of which are described below). You may always “opt out,” either now or at any time in the future, if you do not wish to receive our messages. Each email sent from Constant Contact, eTapestry, and MailChimp contains an unsubscribe option. Additionally, you may send an unsubscribe email request to [email protected].
How your personal information may be usedWe may use your personal information to provide you with personalized communications; to send email alerts to you; to answer your requests, etc. You may choose to opt out at any time. We may also use your personal information to track visitors of our website. This allows us to see which of our features are the most popular so we can better communicate our work. It also allows us to aggregate data about our traffic (not identifying you personally, but showing how many visitors used which features, for example).
Email PrivacyProvide does not knowingly provide, sell, or rent email addresses to anyone outside the organization. We send our email newsletter to those users who have signed up to be on our mailing list. Every email from Provide contains an option for the user to unsubscribe.
Financial SupportersWe work with DonorPerfect, Network for Good and PayPal’s secure sites to collect credit card payments for financial donations. All sites commit to privacy standards similar to those described in this statement.Whether your donation is made online or via our mailed remittance envelope, all supporters are asked to record their public acknowledgment preference. Financial supporters who expressly give Provide permission are included in our list of supporters, which appears on our website, in printed materials, and other communications viewable by the general public. Your name will not appear in this list unless you have given your express permission. You can revoke that permission at any time by contacting [email protected].
