Since 2008, Alaska Geographic has been dedicated to designing and delivering youth programs that engage, educate, and form communities of young people through outdoor recreation on public lands at no cost to the student. Right now, all gifts will have DOUBLE the impact up to $35,000! That means your gift goes twice as far to support Alaska teens.
$50 = $100
$100 = $200
$500 = $1,000
Alaska Geographic students are nominated by their community to attend these expeditions. We prioritize students who otherwise would not have a similar opportunity, are representative of Alaska's diversity, and are interested in public land careers.
This match is made possible by the National Forest Foundation. The National Forest Foundation works on behalf of the American public to inspire personal and meaningful connections to our National Forests. By directly engaging Americans and leveraging private and public funding, the NFF leads forest conservation efforts and promotes responsible recreation. Each year the NFF restores fish and wildlife habitat, facilitates common ground, plants trees in areas affect by fires, insects and disease and improves recreational opportunities. The NFF believes our National Forests and all they offer are an American treasure and are vital to the health of our communities.
