In collaboration with community partners, the Southwest Preparatory School Education Foundation generates and distributes resources to enrich teaching, inspire learning, and enhance opportunities for students enrolled in the Southwest Preparatory School District.

 The Education Foundation is excited to announce NEW for the 2023-24 school year Teacher/Classroom Grants! 

On average, a classroom teacher spends $500 to $1,000 out of his/her pocket annually. To ensure our teachers continue to seek innovation projects and creative instructional approaches to spark learning in their classrooms, Teacher/Classroom Grants will be awarded yearly through a grant application process. 

Teachers are encouraged to apply for grants that support programs or projects for higher levels of student learning. The grant must enhance student academic performance and support the objectives, goals, and initiatives of the district and the campus.

The Foundation's activities and programs are funded exclusively by large and small donations that collectively create an impact for the community far greater than any of us might achieve individually. We accept gifts of cash, checks, and bequests. All donations to the Foundation are tax-deductible.

The Education Foundation provides the following support:

• Grants for Teachers/Classroom Program - Supports innovative classroom projects proposed by teachers for which conventional funding is not available. 
• Teacher Appreciation Program - Recognizing staff for innovative teaching and exemplary performance
• Angels of Education - Fosters awareness, engagement, and partnerships in our community
