ATTENTION: As of October 22, 2021 all paid employees, interns, work study students, and program volunteers assigned to the Boys & Girls Clubs serving Wake County must be able to establish that they have been vaccinated for COVID-19, including “booster shots” as recommended by the Center for Disease Control (CDC), or have an approved medical exemption from the vaccine. Anyone with a medical exemption or accommodation will be required to provide a doctor’s note and be tested twice a week, on Mondays and Fridays. All volunteers must show proof of vaccination prior to leading or supporting any programs or activities involving Club members. A copy of a vaccination card is required and will be kept on file.

 This $15 fee covers the cost of the background check to become a volunteer.
