Zeke Wintjen Memorial Scholarship Fund


The Zeke Wintjen Memorial Scholarship Fund is being established to honor the memory of Coach Zeke Wintjen.  Having served over 30 years as a teacher and a coach at Brazoswood High School, Zeke has left a legacy that will carry on for generations to come.  

Coach Wintjen inspired countless young athletes and is most remembered for his infectious spirit, positive attitude and for his emphasis on the importance of character development.  Each year, a scholarship will be awarded to a Brazoswood High School Senior who participated in the Athletic Program and exemplified strong character and leadership. The scholarship(s) will be for financial assistance to support tuition and fees at an accredited institution of higher education.

Please consider making a donation to the Zeke Wintjen Memorial Fund to help his legacy continue to impact future Buccaneer Athletes.  Once a Buccaneer, always a Buccaneer!
